Adoption Process
At PALS, every cat deserves a loving home—and we work hard to make sure they’re healthy and ready to join your family!
All cats adopted from PALS receive:
- Spay/neuter surgery
- Age-appropriate rabies and distemper vaccinations
- Flea, tick, and deworming treatments
- Testing for FIV, FeLV, and Heartworm
- Ear cleaning and any other medical care they may need
Adoptions are by appointment only.

When you come to take home your new best friend, don’t forget to bring a carrier to help them travel safely!
What to Expect
When you come in for your appointment:
- You’ll have the chance to meet our cats and spend time with them in a comfortable space.
- Our staff will help match you with cats that fit your lifestyle.
- Adoption appointments typically take about an hour.
- Please bring a valid photo ID. If you rent, we may ask for landlord approval for pets.
- We encourage all household members to be part of the decision.
If an adoption doesn’t work out, we always welcome cats back into our care.
Adoption Fees
- Kittens (up to 6 months): $200
- Kittens (6 months – 1 year): $175
- Cats (1 – 5 years): $125
- Cats (5 – 10 years): $100
- Cats (10+ years): Donation (minimum $25)
- FIV+ Kittens: $125
- FIV+ Cats: Donation (minimum $25)
- Special Needs Cats & Kittens: Manager’s Choice
